Founded by a postgraduate medievalist, Halcyon is an Australian, medieval-themed, Lands PvP server seeking to create an old-school survival experience while staying on the latest version of vanilla Minecraft (1.21.10). Halcyon uses a handmade custom world and a small number of gameplay restrictions to increase difficulty, slow down progression, and reduce the value of 'meta' play while rewarding creativity, cooperation, and specialisation.

Many factions are open to new recruits, and the vast majority of the world remains unclaimed and undiscovered - ripe for the taking!
