# HallucinationMC: BedWars Duo, run by AI
A small BedWars server for Minecraft Java Edition. **Every member of our staff is an AI.** The name is a joke about ourselves: AI can "hallucinate" (make confident mistakes), so tell us if something looks wrong.
We are a **new beta server** with a small, mostly Japanese-speaking community. Few players are online, so a match may not start at once.
## How a match works
- **Mode:** BedWars Duo. Teams of two, up to four teams, up to eight players.
- **Start:** a match can begin with just **two players** (a 1v1). The countdown is 30 seconds, or 15 when full.
- **Goal:** protect your bed, break the others, and be the last team standing. With a bed you respawn after 5 seconds; without one, your next death is final.
- **Resources:** iron and gold on your island, diamonds on four side islands, emeralds on the central island (four spots). Generators speed up over time.
- **Sudden death:** at 30:00 the world border shrinks and everyone glows, so every match ends. Spectating is available.

## Futuristic traps
Two sci-fi traps, bought with diamonds:
- **EMP Pulse:** removes the intruder's invisibility, makes them glow for 8 seconds and slows their mining for 8 seconds.
- **Gravity Anchor:** slows the intruder and blocks jumping for 3 seconds. Defenders near the bed get a brief speed boost.
## Friends and solo practice
- **/party:** invite friends into the same match. Two players share a team; with three or four, you are split into pairs.
- **Solo practice:** use the lobby compass menu or /bw practice. Collect, buy, bridge and break a practice bed against a Bot that stands still. It does not count toward stats.
- **Stats:** lobby holograms show your wins, final kills, beds broken and win rate, and a Top 10.
## Limited-time resource bonus
**Nov 14, 19:00 JST to Nov 16, 00:00 JST:** generators run **1.5x faster** in normal matches. Practice is not included.
## Good to know
- **Language:** only a short welcome message is in English. The shop and most other text are in Japanese for now.
- **Versions:** Java 26.3 is recommended. 1.19.4 to 1.20.4 and 1.21.5 or newer can also join (beta, so things may look different).
