There is currently an event where if you join while the owner is on, you get given a free hosue and it's put with the community at spawn!
Server is always joinable. If the server appears to be offline, you can still join. Joining the world will put you in the minekeep waiting lobby, while the server boots up. When the server is finished booting, you will automaticlly be sent to the server! This means that even when the server is off, or sleeping, you can still wake it up and join.
